West Coast Surfing - In B.C, British Columbia you'll discover are a handful of beachbreaks with pointbreaks, rivermouth and reefbreaks to choose from. Jordan River, Longbeach, Nile Creek, Side Bay and Tofino are best locations for beginners.
On the East Coast Popular surf spots like White Point, Martinique and Lawrencetown Beaches are great if you are in need of surf gear, rental equipment and/or lessons, check out the local surf shops around the area which is fast gaining international recognition as a great surfing destination.
Ontario is another good spot for learning with point breaks like A Bay, Gnocchis and Rockpile when conditions are right. The breakwater jetty's at Crystal Beach and Meaford make for a bit of fun for intermediate surfers.
Quebec also has a couple of reef breaks at Chambly and Fox - you can get a decent wave here when conditions are right...not the best conditions for beginners but don't let that stop you from checking it out!
