The Esplanade Surf School has a prime position on the Esplanade at St Clair Beach directly in front of the South Coast Board Riders Clubrooms, and beside the St Clair Surf Life Saving Club.  During the summer months, the Surf Club patrols the beach.
Our aim is to improve your surfing in the safest and quickest way.  We can proudly say that our team of qualified Surf Instructors, who are enthusiastic, eager and commited to providing exceptional levels of service will achieve this.
We provide coaching opportunities for the absolute beginner through to the more experienced.  Lessons can be tailor made to suit individuals.
At Esplanade Surf School we have a strict Client:Instructor ratio along with a high safety standard.
All participants will be using top of the line full-length wetsuits to ensure you are as warm and comfortable as possible.  Adults will be wearing O’Neill wetsuits, while the kids will be fitted out in Rip Curl wetsuits.
Our boards have been imported from two Australian companies – Softboards Australia and Force Industries.  This range of boards will ensure that everyone will get the maximum fun and benefit out of their lesson.
At Esplanade Surf School we have great access on to St Clair Beach and as the only school licensed to operate from the Esplanade, we won’t be hard to find – just look for our blue gazebo.
Lessons Types:Group, Individual, Dawn and Dusk Surfs,School Student Block Lessons.
Day and session times are dependant upon the weather, surf and tide conditions.   All lessons are GST inclusive and include all equipment – boards, wetsuits, rash tops and sunscreen.
