The Pacific Coast of COSTA RICA is full of surfing spots and all types of waves

Oficial name: REPUBBLICA DE COSTA RICA, established and independent since 1848, located south of a large and narrow natural bridge between NORTH AMERICA and SOUTH AMERICA called CENTRAL AMERICA; limits with NICARAGUA to the north ,with the CARIBEAN SEA to the south east, with PANAMA to the south and with the OCEAN PACIFIC to the west.

Its total surface is 51100 km2, divided in 7 provinces wich are San Jose , Alajuela, Heredia, Cartago, Guanacaste,Puntarenas and Limon. Its capital and main city is San Jose ; situaded in the Central Valley , where 2/3 of the total population lives.

Costa Rica´s year round climate is pleasant with naturally occurring breezes, cooling down most of the coastal areas. Temperatures in the highlands and mountains are not so cold, specially during day producing an ´´eternal spring`` feeling, the average annual temperature range from 31.7ºC ( 89ºF ) on the coast to 16.7ºC ( 62ºF ) inland .
