Here at Island Surf School we run group and private surf lessons at various beaches throughout Tasmania.  Current weekend classes are at Park Beach on Saturdays and Clifton Beach on Sundays. 
Classes cover ocean safety and also give you a wealth of knowledge in the art of surf craft riding.  By this we mean our lessons will have you shredding faster! We use soft boards and have wetsuits so all you need is the ambition to surf.
Please contact us if you have any questions or if you’re interested in a lesson.  Private bookings are available, and they’re ideal for birthday parties, school groups or corporate outings.  We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
The beaches we mainly use are Clifton Beach and Park Beach (Park is in Dodges Ferry at the other end of Carlton Beach.)  These are the closest surfing beaches to Hobart, each a 30-40 minute drive from the city centre.|
