Ripar Surf School, founded in 1999, has the aim to teach its students the basics of the sport and at the same time to convey the philosophy and the life style of surfing.

What makes a good surfer is not only his or her performance in the water. It is also important to be in harmony with your environment, to show respect for nature and for the people around you.

For us, the best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun!

The surf camp and surf shop are located in Areia Branca, a small village just 10km away from Peniche. Here you can enjoy the calm of a relaxing holiday close to some of the best surf spots in Europe (Peniche, Ericeira, etc.). Unlike Peniche (a industrial city), Areia Branca is a quiet fishing village with a beautiful 7km sandy beach and plenty of beach breaks, perfect to learn or develop your surf. The perfect place for your surfing holiday in Portugal.
